Two teens were shot in the legs following an argument last week, police said.
The Los Banos Police Department responded to the 1300 block of East Pacheco Boulevard after receiving reports of shots being fired on Oct. 25 at 7:46 p.m.
Police were informed two males, 17 and 18, had been taken to Memorial Hospital Los Banos after being shot in the legs.
Officers spoke with witnesses who reported seeing three Hispanic males arguing with thevictims prior to the shooting. The suspects left the area in an unknown direction and havenot been located.
The 17-year-old victim was transported to a Modesto area hospital where he is reportedly instable condition. The 18-year-old victim has been released and is recovering from his injuries.
Police said they are unsure if this incident is gang related.

The Los Banos Police Department responded to the 1400 Block of San Simeone Way regarding shots being fired into a residence at 2:18 a.m.
At the scene, police found that several shots had been fired into vehicles and the residence where the cars were parked. No injuries were reported during this incident despite many people inside the home during the shooting.
The shooting followed an incident Oct. 25 in which teens 17 and 18 years old were shot in the legs on Pacheco Boulevard.
“We are looking at all the facts, but at this point we are not sure if this incident was gang motivated or related to the shooting on Pacheco Boulevard,” said Cmdr. Ray Reyna Jr.
