Air Force Airman Michael A. Resendez graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in Texas. He completed an eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. He earns four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Resendez is the son of Fidel Resendez of Prato Court in Los Banos. A man was arrested Monday night on charges of tampering with a vehicle at an auto mechanic shop, police said. The Los Banos Police Department responded to a mechanic shop in the 2500 Block of East Pacheco Boulevardat 11:32p.m. regarding a suspicious vehicle on the property. Officer Vanus Warren spokewiththe 64-year-old property owner. Police said the the man toldWarrenheobserveda 1991 GMC Jimmy SUV and a male near his business. The man told police he believed someone was hiding on the property. Officers searched the area and found Justin Perdew, 25, ofMidPines,hiding near a vehicle. Police said they discovered lug nuts on the ground next to Perdew. They belonged to a vehicle parked on the lot, police said. Perdew also had tools toremovethelugnuts,police said. | Full Story
