The Los Banos Library’s Books to Movies to Books program. The program, which shows film adaptations of popular books to the public for free, will have a Sept. 14 showing of “Robots,” Sept. 21 “Diary of a Wimpy Kid,” Sept. 28 “The Chronicles of Narnia,” Oct. 5 “Eragon,” Oct. 12 “Water for Elephants” and Oct. 19 “Cheaper by the Dozen.” All movies are free and will be shown at 11 a.m.

Rotary Club Wee Wigglers Storyhour is Thursday at 10 a.m., and from 10 to 11 a.m., also on Saturday, the Cesar Chavez Committee’s Lectura para Ninos will be celebrating Mexican Independence Day with a dance, music, song, flowers and refreshments.

Library hours:

• Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The library is closed Sunday and Monday.
