Police are searching for three men in connection with a stabbing last week in the parking lot of a Taco Bell.

The Los Banos Police Department responded to the 1200 Block of Pacheco Boulevard for a report of a stabbing at 11 p.m. July 3.

Police discovered a male, 45, suffering from stab wounds to his upper right arm. The victim was treated by members of the Los Banos Police and Fire departments and Riggs Ambulance crew before being taken to Memorial Hospital, Los Banos. He was later transferred to a Modesto-area hospital. He is reportedly in stable condition.

Police said witnesses told them three males, one of whom was heavyset and wearing light-colored shorts, were responsible for the stabbing. The suspects were last seen running toward Mercy Springs Road.

Police said the incident is under investigation. They had not determined a motive or named suspects, but said the incident does not appear to be gang-related.
