DOS PALOS -- Three drive-by shootings but no injuries were reported Tuesday night in and around Dos Palos, police Chief Barry Mann said Wednesday.
One of the shootings occurred in the city, Mann said. The other two were reported in the county, south of Dos Palos.
Officers received calls from residents near Almond Street and Carol Avenue in Dos Palos around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
The callers reported hearing shots fired followed by the sound of a car speeding off.
One of the bullets broke through the wall of a home and almost struck a resident inside, Mann said. The shooting appears to be gang-related, he said.
Shortly after 11 p.m., additional calls poured in reporting two more drive-by shootings in the county south of Dos Palos.
Authorities are trying to determine if the three shootings are related.
