An auto accident on Pacheco Boulevard caused one vehicle to flip onto its side and sent two people to the hospital Friday, police said.

Cmdr. Ray Reyna Jr. said at 10:58 a.m. a silver Saturn Ion, driven by Jennifer Okkamoto of Turlock, was traveling eastbound on Pacheco Boulevard near the San Luis Plaza. He said the Saturn collided with a gold Nissan Altima turning into the shopping center from a westbound turn lane on Pacheco Boulevard.

The Saturn flipped on its side.

Reyna said Okkamoto had minor injuries and refused medical treatment. Los Banos resident Alfredo Guzman, the driver of the Nissan, also declined medical attention. However, Guzman’s two passengers, a pregnant woman,21, and a male, 19, were taken to Memorial Hospital, Los Banos after they complained of rib and abdominal pain.
