Police remind parents to warn children about contact with strangers

Pacheco High students said they were flashed by an unknown man while walking home Friday, according to a press release.

The man, described as having a large mustache and wearing a blue hat, is reported to regularly ride a bicycle along Willmott Street around 3:30 p.m. The incident was reported to local authorities, according to the release.

"Parents, we share your concern regarding the safety of your children," the release stated. "Please speak to your children and remind them to be very careful when it comes to contact with strangers and about possible dangers while going to and from school."

Los Banos Police are asking students to report any incidents as soon as possible. The department can be reached at (209) 827-7070, ext. 0.
