Man dies in early morning crash near Los Banos

LOS BANOS A man died in a solo vehicle accident early Monday, the California Highway Patrol officials said.
The CHP has not released the mans identity because his family has yet to be notified.
CHP spokesman Matt Pinheiro said the man was traveling north on Highway 165 near Wolfsen Road at 3:53 a.m. when his 1999 Chevrolet Suburban drifted toward the west side of the road and hit a fence.
Pinheiro said the man, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was found dead inside his overturned vehicle.
Pinheiro said it is unknown at this time what caused the Chevrolet to drift off of the road.
He said it is also undetermined whether drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash.
There were no passengers in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
