Constitution seminar

Mike Winther, president of the Institute for Principle Studies, will present a seminar titled "Constitution Under Siege" from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 9 at New Beginnings Church, 821 W. Donations wanted

Soroptimist International Los Banos will be collecting items for care packages for victims of sexual assault and children taken into protective custody, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Police Annex, 535 J St. Wanted are women's sweats 5-large to XLarge, socks and toiletries; children's school supplies, socks and toiletries; and towels for Valley Crisis Center. A hot dog lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for donors.

Hunter safety course

Los Banos Sportsmen's Club plans a hunter safety course March 16 and 17 at the club, 13989 S. Mercey Springs Road. Lunch is served Saturday; fee to participate is $10. Call Sandy Wakeling at (209) 826-3600.
