Pregnant woman, 29, hurt in crash
Staff Reports
A three-vehicle accident last week sent a pregnant woman to the hospital, police said.
Cmdr. Ray Reyna Jr. said police were called to Pacheco Boulevard and H Street at 3:37 p.m. Jan. 18.
Police determined Richard Health, 68, of Salinas, was driving westbound on Pacheco Boulevard when his black Lexus drifted into the eastbound fast lane, Reyna said.
The Lexus hit a gray Ford E-350 driven by Mathieu Flickinger, 30, of Seaside, which in turn hit a Ford Focus eastbound alongside it in the slow lane, police said. The Ford Focus was driven by Alan Richardson, 46, of Los Banos, police said.
Reyna said all three cars came to a stop in an H Street parking lot.
A 29-year-old pregnant woman, Crystal Flickinger was a passenger in the Lexus.
Flickinger complained of chest and abdominal pain after being involved in the crash. She was taken to Memorial Hospital, Los Banos and was treated and released.
