Hazardous waste event set today and Jan. 29

Merced County Regional Waste Management Authority will offer household hazardous waste disposal by appointment only today and Jan. 29 at the Highway 59 landfill. Household products with ingredients that are corrosive, reactive, ignitable and flammable or toxic will be accepted.
