Briefs: Fundraiser race Feb. 9

The Eagle Field Fundraiser Race is scheduled for Feb. 9 at Eagle Field, with rain dates of Feb. 16 and March 2. The race will be an open show -- all years allowed -- with Christmas-tree starting lights.

General asmission is $15. Entry fee is $40 for a car and driver.

Baseball dinner set

Los Banos baseball will host a surf and turf dinner Jan. 26 at D.E.S. Hall. Entrees will include New York steak and all-you-can-eat sautéed shrimp, with pasta, salad and a roll.

The event will include a no-host bar, silent and live auctions, a 50/50 raffle and a DJ. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Cost is $40.
