An 80-year-old Los Banos woman died after being ejected from her vehicle in an auto crash in San Benito County on Tuesday.
According to a news release from the California Highway Patrol's Gilroy office, at 5:34 p.m. Mary Parksene Falasco was driving on Highway 25 north of Hudner Lane. She turned her 2000 Ford Explorer to the right and lost control of the vehicle, the release stated.
Falasco's vehicle went east into a dirt embankment and overturned several times.
Falasco, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from her Ford Explorer. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The CHP said drunken driving was not a factor in the accident.
Falasco was the sister-in-law of Robert M. Falasco, the longtime judge for whom the Merced County Superior Court in Los Banos is named.
