Annual rice pounding in Livingston

LIVINGSTON -- The Livingston United Methodist Church will hold its annual mochi tsuki. Orders are due by Dec. 27 and will be ready for pick up between 1 and 4 p.m. on Dec. 29. Cost is $4 per pound for plain mochi and $1.50 a piece for ahn mochi. Come by to watch the process, call for time at (209) 394-2264.
