Our focus needs to be on sustainability with the community center. Even by charging over $1,000 a day for each conference room, it is not enough to keep up with operating costs. That is a problem.
Obviously, building the community center was not free, and one way or another, we will pay for it. The consequence of this is another example of how our city, state and federal governments are spending us into oblivion. No wonder gold continues to push up.
In June, Moody's downgraded the bonds associated with the state's former redevelopment agencies to junk. Who is proud of that?
Lets make a change for a positive future. Please join me in voting for individuals who will spend our money responsibly. Let's uplift our community by voting for Mike Villalta, Deborah Lewis and Arkady Faktorovich.
