College recruiting speaker at PHS

Former NBA player Lamond Murray will speak on behalf of the NCSA about college recruiting at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 25 in the Pacheco High theater. This event is open to any student athlete who would like information on the recruiting process.

Twin Tigers' new home

The Twin Tigers Kung Fu Studio and Jesse Rodriguez MMA Training have partnered for a new location and a new name.

Twin Tigers MMA Combat Fitness opened its doors Sept. 30 at 975 I street with a demonstration of forms, weapons, jiu jitsu and mixed martial arts fighting.

Classes will be offered in kung fu, MMA training, jiu jitsu, kickboxing, cardio kickboxing for women and Zumba classes along with personal and group fitness training, with the doors open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
