Wildlife refuge tours

San Luis National Wildlife Refuge Complex staff will lead guided bus tours in celebration of the return of Sandhill cranes to Merced County. The two tours begin Oct. 27 at 10 a.m. and noon and last about 90 minutes. Space is limited. To reserve a spot, call the complex at (209) 826-3508. The refuge is about 15 minutes north of Los Banos at 7376 S. Wolfsen Road.
