POLICE CALLS

Between Oct. 12 and Oct. 18, the Los Banos Police Department responded to 524 calls for service. The following is an example of some of those calls:

Oct. 12

800 block of Seventh Street -- A report of a burglary at 8:49 a.m.

800 block of Sandra Street -- A report of stolen Japanese maple trees at 9:10 a.m.

1900 block of Pacheco Boulevard -- A report of shoplifting at 2:58 p.m.

300 block of North First Street -- A report of vandalism of a car at 6:20 p.m.
