Gordon Borges: Stop the assault on unions

The Tea Party assult on unionism is designed to decimate collective bargining. Public sector unions in Wisconsin, Ohio and Indiana are their initial target.

However, this aggression is the start of union busting nationwide. It must be stopped. It seems inevitable that private sector unions are next.

We should remember that the American middle class was union inspired. Without that influence our American lifestyle would go wanting, big time.

Now is the time to support unionism if we are to continue our highest standard of living the world has ever known.
