A Los Banos man alleged to have allowed drugs to be used and sold at his home was picked up by police Monday, law enforcement said.

Mellon Moseley, 64, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sales, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a residence where drugs are used or sold.

Police said a search warrant was served at Moseley's residence in the 1400 block of Canal Farm Lane. An ounce of methamphetamine and a smoking pipe were found at the residence, police said. Cmdr. Ray Reyna Jr. said the amount of meth discovered was substantially more than what an addict would have for personal use. Police would not provide further details.

Moseley is being held at the John Latorraca Correctional Facility in lieu of $42,000 bail.

Anyone with information about this incident can call the Los Banos Police Department at (209) 827-7070.
