Police calls between Sept. 6 and Sept. 13

POLICE CALLS

Between Sept. 6 and Sept. 13, the Los Banos Police Department responded to 489 calls for service. The following is an example of some of those calls:

Sept. 6

1000 block of Sixth Street -- A report at 10:45 a.m. of stolen camera equipment and $350 cash from a business.

600 block of Kirkwood Court -- A report of an ice cream man selling a lighter to a 10-year-old at 12:12 p.m.

Sept. 8

1500 block of Alberta Street -- A report of a car battery stolen from a 1965 Chevy Impala at 9:58 a.m.

Sept. 11

300 block of West Pacheco Boulevard -- A report of a stolen donation jar at 12:50 p.m.
