14-year-old boy in critical conditon after Los Banos shooting

Los Banos police are investigating a Tuesday night shooting that injured a 14-year-old boy.

Around 11:17 p.m. officers responded to the scene in the 200 block of West I St. As officers arrived they learned the teen had arrived at Los Banos Memorial Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen, police said.

The juvenile was flown to a Modesto area hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Police said he was unable to provide a statement to officers.

Police reported finding a loaded gun in the 200 Block of West I St., while processing the crime scene.
