Getting big air: Riders getting hang of new track layout

Scores of riders descended on the Los Banos Fairgrounds on Saturday for the second round of the AMP/GFI Los Banos Summercross Series.
This time the riders had a little more practice time on the renovated track.
Ty Keenom of Sonora won the Top Gun Main Event, while last week's winner, Daniel Blair of Lodi, slipped to third. Clovis resident Casey Hinson placed second for the second straight week.
Blake Ballard of Lodi and Rusty Holland of Clovis rounded out the top five.
Youngster Colby Copp notched the only win by a Los Banos rider, taking first in the 85cc novice class. He added a second-place performance in 65cc intermediate (finishing behind pal Jeremy Ryan of Hollister) and seventh in 65cc open.
Former LB resident Patrick Spadafore took fifth in a loaded 250cc novice class, and matched that with another fifth in the 450cc novice classs. Current LB residents Sean Garcia, Raymond Fisher and Brody Silva went 8-9-10 in 85cc beginner.
Other locals included LB's Nick Uljanic (sixth in 250cc beginner), DP's Brandon Spiva (seventh in 65cc beginner and ninth in 65cc open), LB's Don Garcia (second in +40 beginner) and Riley Brazil (sixth in 65cc beginner).
The third round of the series begins at about 4 p.m. Saturday.
