Police: Family is victim of home invasion

A family was the victim of a home invasion on G Street Monday and the suspects are still on the loose, police said.

Cmdr. Ray Reyna Jr. said at about 10:09 p.m. police responded to a residence on the 300 block of G Street occupied by a male, 28, female, 21, and a 1-year-old child.

The couple told police two men armed with guns broke into their home and said they were there searching for drugs.

The suspects threatened the victims while pointing guns at them and stole electronics from the home, Reyna said.

He said the suspects also stole the couple’s car, a 2001 red Ford Focus.

The suspects are described as black males. One of them is reportedly 5 feet 8 inches tall and 160 pounds. The second suspect is 6 feet tall , 170 pounds with short black hair.
