Duane Brehn: So much to report on this month

February 24, 2012

The Los Banos Chamber of Commerce has been very busy. We are getting ready for our Spring Street Faire on April 14. There are still spaces available. Contact the chamber office if you wish to reserve a space.

We are also working with Los Banos Police Chief Gary Brizzee to hold a safety workshop. The tentative date is May 20. It will feature information from several businesses on how to protect your home, business, autos, Internet and personal information. This event will be free to the public.

Plans are coming along quite well for the 2012 Tomato Festival. We expect it to be a great event. There have been many changes made and we are very hard at work to bring you a festival that everyone in the community can be very proud of. We realize there were some mistakes made last year and we have corrected those by listening and gathering feedback from those who attended last year

The chamber is also considering having an informational booth inside the O'Banion Building during the Merced County Spring Fair this year. Those who are interested in helping can call the chamber at (209) 826-2495.

Your Los Banos Chamber of Commerce is very proud to be a part of this community. By all us working together, we can build a strong and more prosperous community.

chamber president
