Gunman wanted in Circle K holdup

The Los Banos Police Department is searching for a man who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint last weekend.

Sgt. Brent Torongo said police responded at 5:35 p.m. Saturday to a report of an armed robbery at Circle K in the 700 block of Pacheco Boulevard.

A man entered the store, pointed a gun at the employees and demanded money, police said.

Employees complied, and the suspect fled the store.

No one was injured in the incident, police said.

The suspect reportedly wore a black hooded sweatshirt and a mask. No further desription was released by authorities.

Police also have not disclosed how much money was taken.
