LB JV girls keep winning

Pacheco wrestling wins in Livingston

LIVINGSTON -- Pacheco's JV wrestling team kicked off the WAC season with a 54-24 win over Livingston.

Austin Byrum benefited from four penalty points in his 12-11 win over Cristian Mancera, while Maria Quiroz, Myranda Velazquez, Miguel Cuellar and heavyweight Everardo Santillan each earned pins. Marcus Azevedo added a 17-12 win.

Several Pacheco wrestlers placed in a tournament at Livingston the weekend before, with Quiroz and Santillan winning their divisions.
