Los Banos man hurt in wreck

Starbucks was burglarized in separate incident

April 21, 2011

Southbound Highway 99 in Madera County was partially blocked early Thursday morning after a big rig overturned south of Avenue 24, the California Highway Patrol said.

Cesar Campos, 34, of Los Banos was southbound on 99 at 3:19 a.m. towing two trailers when he tried to move from the passing lane to the right lane. He lost control of the truck and overturned, blocking the passing lane and the center divider.

Campos had to be removed from the truck by emergency workers and was hospitalized after complaining of pain.

The road was fully open by about 7 a.m.
