Last-second goal gives LB win in soccer debut

Tigers let down in second half, almost lose game

Los Banos' JV team didn't have the same success against its Hilmar counterpart. Hilmar built a 1-0 lead early on a Devon Madeiros goal, and the Tigers weren't able to answer with a goal of their own.

Madeiros added another goal in the second half after collecting a rebound off Los Banos' goalkeeper, and Andres Moron capped the scoring late in the game.

"We did kind of what I expected," Los Banos coach Nate Hanson said. "But a couple of careless mistakes cost us those goals. Offensively, we just couldn't finish it."
