A Garage Sale for a Cause

Event scheduled for the weekend

Former Los Banos resident Richard Gomes and family members, who still live in the city, are holding a garage sale in which all proceeds will go directly to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The event will be held at 1128 Idaho Ave. on Friday from 7 to 9 a.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. until noon.

Items that will be sold include clothing, toys, sporting equipment, books and general odds and ends.
