Church briefs: St. John's Lutheran is hosting a fun-filled Rally Day Sept. 12

Rally Day at St. John's Lutheran Church at 250 W. Adams Ave. will be held Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon. There will be games and a bounce house. Admission is free and open to the public of all ages.

Crossroads Church is holding a special service on Sept. 5

Crossroads Church, 2160 E. Pacheco Blvd., Suite K, is having a special 10 to 11:30 a.m. service on Sept. 5. The regular Saturday service will not take place that weekend. Crossroads provides a nursery suite for parents of infants and toddlers, children's ministries for kindergarten through fourth grade and youth ministries.
