An alleged drunken driver potentially provided a new entrance to Los Banos Junior High School Saturday night.
Los Banos Police Department responded to a report of a car crash at 11:45 p.m., Cmdr. Ray Reyna Jr. said. Upon arrival on San Luis Street, officers discovered a silver Kia lodged into a fence leading to the school.
The driver of the car, 34-year-old Leonel Vega Suarez, was discovered to have a blood alcohol level of .17, more than twice the legal limit. Reyna said Suarez was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without a license. Suarez was released on his own recognizance.
