Los Banos police host anti-crime event

The Los Banos Police Department announced this week that it has partnered with the local Target, the Los Banos Fire Department and the California Highway Patrol for the 2010 National Night Out. The event will be held Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Los Banos Target, 1405 W. Pacheco Blvd.

The event is sponsored by the National Night Out. It is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for local anti-crime programs and strengthen police-community partnerships.
