Free breakfast offered to seniors at 'Green' event
Registration takes place at the Miller & Lux building

Go Green Seniors Complimentary Breakfast:
Pacific Gas and Electric Company in co-operation with the Merced County Area Agency on Aging, and United Way of Merced County are sponsoring a complimentary breakfast for senior citizens, age 60 and up and their guests.
The breakfast will be held at the Los Baños Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall on Wednesday, March 17, (St. Patrick’s Day).
Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. with breakfast being served at 9 a.m.
The Los Baños Volunteer Fire Department will be preparing the breakfast featuring pancakes, eggs, ham, orange juice, and coffee.
Volunteers from PG&E, the Area Agency on Aging, and United Way will serve as greeters. They have been attending meetings to help plan the breakfast.
Local resident Joe Cox will moderate a brief program, which will include presentations by PG&E, the Area Agency on Aging, and the Los Baños Fire Department. After completing a “Fall Prevention Survey” attendees will be eligible to win donated raffle prizes. Those signing a Flex Your Power pledge to conserve energy will also be eligible to win a prize drawing.
The breakfast is FREE to the first 300 seniors and their guests who register at the Miller and Lux Center (830 Sixth St.).
Informational displays will be provided by PG&E, HICAP, the Area Agency on Aging, Flex Your Power, and the Los Baños Fire Department.
Attendees may visit the displays before and after the breakfast. Go Green: “Save Energy and Natural Resources” is the theme for the breakfast, which happens to fall on St. Patrick's Day! Persons interested in attending must register at the Miller and Lux building by March 12.
