TURLOCK -- The Los Ba&#241;os High girls varsity basketball team couldn't quite finish off the 2009-10 season with a win on Feb. 18 on the road against Pitman High of Turlock.</p><p>The Tigers came up on the short end of a 49-35 Central California Conference defeat.</p><p>Pitman, which competed in the Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs this past week, opened up the CCC finale against LB on a 22-8 run and never looked back.</p><p>Los Ba&#241;os' defense played tight for the rest of the game and held Pitman to 10 points or fewer in the final three quarters.</p><p>Jasmine Washington led the Pride with 26 points.</p><p>Sophomore Brianna Harden led the Tigers with 13 points.</p><p>Los Ba&#241;os went 4 of 13 from the free-throw line, which didn't help its cause.</p><p>"We had a very young team this year and they learned a lot about varsity basketball," Los Ba&#241;os head coach Mike Perkins said.</p><p>-John-Joel Griffiths
