On Jan. 28 officers with the Los Baños Police Department worked in coordination with the state parole agency to conduct several compliance searches of local parolees and people on probation.

Within an eight-hour period officers searched 32 residences and made seven arrests. Three subjects were arrested for parole violations, three were arrested on suspicion of narcotics violations and one subject, 22-year-old Los Baños resident, Jay Ohman, was arrested on suspicion of possession of stolen property and burglary.

"We have been very pleased with the results these types of operations yield and we anticipate utilizing similar enforcement activity throughout the year," said Sgt. Elias Reyes.
