Financial aid workshop planned
Students who plan to attend California State University, Stanislaus will receive useful information on how they can pay for college at the Feb. 8 Cash for College Workshop.
Students, parents, and all who are interested can attend the free 6 p.m. program in Room 130 of the Mary Stuart Rogers Educational Services Gateway Building at CSU Stanislaus, One University Circle, Turlock. No advance registration is required. Directions to the CSU Stanislaus campus are on the University Web site.
Prospective freshman who attend the financial aid information program will be eligible to win a $1,000 scholarship drawing this spring.
Hosted by the CSU Stanislaus Financial Aid Office, the workshop will cover how to file the 2010-11 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and Cal Grant GPA verification forms for the upcoming college year. CSU Stanislaus Financial Aid staff will be on hand to conduct the program and respond to questions.
