The Los Ba&#241;os High boys freshman basketball team didn't have enough size to matchup against Buhach Colony High of Atwater on Wednesday.</p><p>The Tigers fell to 0-3 in the Central California Conference following a 70-40 loss against the Thunder.</p><p>Daniel Marquez finished with a team-high 21 points.</p><p>"Daniel got real comfortable after I told him he has to shoot," Los Ba&#241;os head coach Keith Jones said. "I didn't think we were out of the game until midway through the fourth.</p><p>"(Buhach) is decent -- top three in the league with Golden Valley and Merced."</p><p>Marquez was 4 of 5 from the 3-point line.</p><p>Isaiah Gallardo finished with 5 points and Daeton West had 4.</p><p>Buhach Colony led 18-2 after the first quarter and went into the locker room ahead 36-15.</p><p>The Thunder opened the second half on a 26-6 run to pull away for good.</p><p>On Friday, Los Ba&#241;os suffered a 62-44 loss on the road against Atwater High.</p><p>West led the Tigers with 14 points. Chris Marquez finished with a team-high 15 points.</p><p>D. Marquez had 9 during the loss.</p><p>Atwater outscored the tigers 19-10 in the first eight minutes and went on a 25-2 run in the second quarter. Los Ba&#241;os outscored Atwater 32-18 during the final two quarters.</p><p>The Tigers will play against Turlock High today at 4:15 p.m. at Turlock.</p><p><i>-John-Joel Griffiths</i>
