According to the Los Ba&#241;os Police Department, on Oct. 15 officers were called to investigate seven independent reports property thefts from vehicles. Police responded to the first call at 4:04 a.m.</p><p>It appears that cars targeted were left unlocked with personal property such as, iPods, purses, wallets, loose change, and fishing poles left inside.</p><p>The thefts took place on the 1100 block of Overland Avenue, 800 block of Friguglietti Avenue, 500 block of Ranchwood Drive, 1200 block of Santa Barbara Street, 1000 block of Marsala Street, and the 500 block of Santa Ana Court.</p><p>During one of the investigations officers obtained information that suspicious male subjects were seen wearing dark clothing.</p><p>The Los Ba&#241;os Police Department urges citizens to lock their vehicles and to secure any valuable personal property in a safe place.</p><p>Being a good witness and actively reporting criminal and/or suspicious activity is very important and absolutely beneficial to our community.</p><p>Anyone with information regarding a suspicious or criminal incident is strongly encouraged to contact the Los Ba&#241;os Police Department at 827-7070.
