* The Central California Blood Center will be at St. John's Parish Hall, 250 W. Adams Ave. from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a blood drive. Come in and possibly save a life for someone in our valley hospitals. Donors must be in good general health, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and be at least 17 years old. Be sure to drink plenty of water and eat a healthy meal prior to donation. Photo ID and Social Security Number are required at donor registration.

* Welcome Community,Manna Ministries provides a free meal and fellowship every Sunday at 5 p.m. located at the United Methodist Church, 1031 Iowa Ave. The day starts off with a short spiritual followed by a hot meal. *Worship, fellowship and praise will be held at 11 a.m. by Bethany Community Church at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 404 Overland Ave.

* Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous is a 12-step fellowship based on the principals of Alcoholics Anonymous. The group meets from 8-9:30 a.m. at Los Baņos Memorial Hospital/Education Center (across the street from hospital), 600 West I St. Suite D. For more information, call 826-6637.
