Sam Cook Memorial Softball Tournament

The 5th annual Sam Cook Memorial Tournament and Homerun Derby is set for July 25 and 26 at the Ag Complex in Los Baños. Sign-ups begin at 5 p.m. for the Homerun Derby on July 25; start time is 6:30 p.m. Cost is $20 per person.

The softball tournament is scheduled for July 26 for the first 12 teams to sign up by July 21. Cost is $225 per team of 12 players. In addition to the team prizes for all 12 placements, there will also be raffle prizes and tri-tip and drinks sold at the tournament.

A portion of this year's proceeds will be given to the Los Baños High School scholarship fund that has been set up in Sam Cook's name. For more information, contact Paul Arambel at 769-7631.
