Letter: Thanks for the recognition

We would like to thank the board of directors of the Los Baños Chamber of Commerce for naming our Allstate agency the 2008 Business of the Year. We are both honored and humbled by this recognition.

In the volunteer work we do in Los Baños, we are inspired by the spirit and caring of all those who volunteer along with us. As we do our volunteer work at the Kiwanis Christmas Eve dinner, the Rotary Crab Feed, Soroptimist Victorian Tea, the Wild West Weekend, the Chamber of Commerce Fireworks booth, and many other events in this city, we have found so many caring and generous people working side by side to make this city such a wonderful place to live and work. We are proud to be among them.

We are grateful to our employees and our families for their support and efforts. They have volunteered at our sides in almost every activity we participate in, supporting both us and the community of Los Baños.

We are truly honored and proud to be named the Los Baños Chamber of Commerce 2008 Business of the Year. Thank you to everyone in the community of Los Baños - we love living and running our business in such a wonderful city!
