TURLOCK -- Los Ba&#241;os High senior Bobby Park had Turlock's USC-bound senior Sam Smith on the ropes Tuesday afternoon at the Turlock Golf and Country Club.</p><p>Park was leading Smith by a shot heading into the ninth hole, but Park carded an eight to finish with a 41, while Smith tallied up a bogey to finish with a match-low 39.</p><p>"It's tough anytime you have to go play against Turlock and the Smith brothers," Los Ba&#241;os head coach Dustin Caropreso said. "A majority of their kids are country club kids, but my kids came out and gave it their best."</p><p>Turlock beat Los Ba&#241;os 209-261. The Tigers fell to 2-2 in the Central California Conference.</p><p>Mark Nocito shot a 49 and Dylan Wooldridge carded a 54. Bryan St. Marie had a 56 and Dalton Degrace a 61.</p><p>During Monday's Yellowjacket Invitational at Stevinson Ranch, Los Ba&#241;os tied for sixth place overall and Park finished third individually with a 76.</p><p><i>-John-Joel Griffiths</i>
