Twelve of Los Banos' varsity track and field athletes qualified to compete in the league's divisional meet on Wednesday.

And only one of them is set to compete in the masters meet next week.

The top nine placers qualified for the masters meet in each event.

Los Baños' 100-meter favorite Kenny Johnson competed in the divisional meet event, finishing in 8th place at 11.64 seconds, 0.51 seconds behind his California Central Conference meet winning time of 11.13 seconds.

Whitney Parks took 11th place in the girls' pole vault at 9 feet. Nelson Ma placed 22nd in the 300-meter hurdles at 44.64 seconds. And Amanda Smothers placed 23rd in the girls' hurdles at 53.70 seconds.
